Communication is the magic with which all relationships are created and destroyed. Professor Hamilton’s passion is to teach people how to communicate in ways that enhance the areas of life that matter the most.  Because all human behavior has communicative value, we can conclude that communication is a fundamental skill that is widely underestimated.  It is in every fiber of our humanity.  Without it, we would not exist. 
Jaime has garnered an academic platform of excellence while teaching in Higher Education for over 20 years.   “I thrive on teaching communication skills that people can apply in real-world contexts.”  It is her dream to connect the world of academia with everyday human behavior so that we can understand the world around us in more meaningful ways.   Her teaching techniques combined with her real-life experiences allow her to shine a light on new and innovative ways to communicate.   She believes that relationships are the core of our human nature. “I want to share what I know so that we can cultivate relationships that help us achieve our full potential.” 
She founded The Comm Experts, a communication consulting and coaching company, with the hope of teaching effective communication skills beyond the walls of Higher Education.  Her education includes a B.S. and M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Central Missouri with continued research education from the University of South Wales, UK. Her education foundation is rooted in Rhetorical Theory and Applied Communication.  She can be reached at

Bullying is about control. The theoretical approach we use helps us understand controlling messages within relationships. We expand this approach to bullying relationships as a way to respond effectively to domineering (controlling) messages.
 
All power is found within messages (verbal and nonverbal). Because we know the messages bullies use to garner power over another, we can create messages that help victims of bullying to defend themselves or neutralize the situation.

Ari spent two decades implementing SEL best practices as a teacher and principal, and led retreats for educators as well on SEL. He applies much of that to coaching teachers and school leaders on how to build stronger partnerships with underrepresented families and integrate those practices into gatherings with families, which include conversations around ways to support students and families mental health.
 
He also spent 16 years working as a teacher and school leader... 7 years coaching educators at 30 plus schools... extensive expertise on SEL, with several articles published specifically around mental health as it connects to creating safer schools and preventing violence. A decade plus on the board of Passageworks Institute, which for 22 years focused on supporting the mental health of students, families and educators!
 
One of the major ways he supports the mental health of all stakeholders within a school community is by creating spaces where people can show up authentically and feel deeply seen, heard, and valued.

Phil Januszewski is a tattoo covered, Netflix baking-show flopping, high-energy chemistry/physics teaching keynote speaker and coach that is on a mission to create and spread happiness through education, motivation, and entertainment. Phil is a nationally known dynamic speaker of 10+ years and a public school educator since 2005 with a bachelors in chemistry, a masters in teaching leadership, and a certification in positive education. 
When not teaching, speaking, or supporting educators, Phil enjoys everyday adventures with his wife and two children and pursuing his personal passions of fitness, baking, networking, and personal development. What is CIRCLE
 
Tom Murphy is the proud husband and father of four living in the charming City of Saint Albans, VT. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where his parents ran a small shelter and recovery home for the hopeless in their own house, Tom has gone on to take this mantra of helping and caring for others in need his life’s mission.
Tom graduated from Cooperstown High School and then became an All-American at the University of Brockport, taking second place at the 1997 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships. Tom spent the next 16 years advancing through the railroad industry, eventually becoming a Corporate Director for the world’s largest shortline regional railroad company, RailAmerica. He ran their National Rail Traffic Control Center until stepping down and pursuing his full-time passion of being a Superhero. On top of his “mild-manner” role in the railroad, Tom has gone on to become the successful entrepreneur of multiple small-town businesses, namely one of Northern Vermont’s premiere restaurants and bars – Twiggs: An American Gastropub and The Clothier.
Tom is also a former professional mixed martial artist with a record of 8-0, competing in both amateur and professional fights, including on the popular UFC Ultimate Fighter Season 2. Tom now travels the nation with his good friend and wounded warrior Rick Yarosh. The two have spoken to over 2-million students on the power of HOPE and Action, focusing on empathy activation and student empowerment.  Their unique message leaves students, educators and parents inspired and with tangible strategies that give students the courage to Jump into Action to change and save lives!
