About Alexandria Jones-Patten
In 2017 Alexandria became a Registered Nurse, dedicating three years to hospital floor duties on a busy telemetry unit. Shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020 she decided to pivot to a public health role because she knew she wanted to explore her talents beyond the bedside. She spent the next two years providing care to homeless adults in shelters and temporary housing. Still, Alexandria had a passion for business that wasn't met in the public health sector. During this time she was working on her Nursing PhD and began exploring entrepreneurship. This was when she realized she could put her writing talents to use beyond academic writing. In 2022 she decided to launch a freelance writing business, 'Authored by AJP."  Her primary goal is to educate the public and inspire others about heart health, using her unique blend of experiences and knowledge. She also helps other nurses start their freelance writing business.

I am a former Nurse Midwife and a Critical Care Registered Nurse I truly enjoyed taking care of the sick, seeing a critically ill patient become alert smile and speaks coherently and is well enough to leave the unit is such a joyous feeling. But there comes a time in our lives when we have to "pass the baton on"  LegalShield was introduced to me by someone in another State, I listened to the information, it made sense, I got the Legal and the Identity Theft Plans, giving access to attorneys Nationwide including Canada, paying a small fee per month seems like a very great deal. I must confess that I was a bit skeptical  "what kind of attorneys are these , so cheap, the cost is less than a cup of coffee per day?" Anyways , I wanted to support the individual.  I got monthly monitoring of my credit from the  firm informing me that there was no illegal activity on my credit.                                                                   
        I was going on vacation this particular month when the report came , I ignored it just thinking it's all good. On my return I was surprised to see the alert needed my immediate response, I had been a victim of Identity Theft. There was an email congratulating me that the credit cards I applied for was successfully delivered. I called my law firm they assured me that I am protected, I was assigned an Attorney and a Private Investigator, the took control informed me  of everything they were doing, on one of the cards a purchase of $58.000 for a car .                                                                                                                                              
         In a short while I got a letter from my attorney informing me that all the irregularities had been taken care of and I had total restoration of my credit to pre-theft status. What make this service so awesome, I didn't have any out-of-pocket expense.

Mel is a registered nurse and entrepreneur. Mel Cortez graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Critical Care Travel Nurse for over 10 years, she has been in many facilities across the country. In addition to Nursing Supervision roles in acute care, Mel has held various management positions within Home Health, Hospice, and Long-Term Care prior to returning to the bedside to serve as a Critical Care Traveler in the Northeast in March of 2020. After 2 pivotal years caring for patients in the Covid 19 Pandemic, she then chose to launch the Cortex Brand, a solution-based business. Cortex’s latest project, Cortex Gold has a primary focus on creating a Gold Standard for Healthcare Security while reducing the rising violence at the bedside through tactical, practical innovations in the realms of product, training, and research. About Yvaline DorceMy name is Yvaline Dorce, I am a mom, a wife, a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV), a nurse. I am a first-generation college student. I was born and raised in the beautiful “La Perle des Antilles”, AKA Haiti. I moved to the United Stated at the age of sixteen. I always had a passion for helping others. On Tuesday January 12th 2010, when a 7.0 magnitude earthquake devasted Haiti, all I wanted was to get on a plane and help. However, I could not. It was heartbreaking watching the news and there was nothing I could do to help. Ever since, I had no doubt that I was called to serve!
I have worked in different areas of nursing from outpatient dialysis to critical care. From Hepatitis C research at Columbia University to traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo working on medicinal plant treatment for diabetes, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in healthcare. Helping and educating others on different health topics has always been my passion. 
Currently I am a CTICU nurse and embarking in my entrepreneurship journey. In addition to nursing, I love to travel, try different food, read. About Mariquita Joy
Mariquita Joy is an author of over 80 books including fiction, non-fiction, puzzle books, journals and coloring books for adults and children. She is a bilingual (Spanish) speaking nurse, although she has not a drop of Latina blood. She grew up in snow covered Canada before moving to South America for a short time. She works as a travelling case manager nurse for Spanish speaking people who are injured at work.
She has been a nurse for 30 years working in areas of OB, pediatrics, and commercial and workers compensation.  She graduated with a Master of Public Health from USF in Tampa and a BA in business management from the University of Phoenix.She was a regional finalist in the White House Fellows Program.
 
She writes under multiple pen names of Savanna Spencer, Marita Morgan, Lexi Lou and Emily Elizabeth Adams. Each pen name has its own genre. Marita- classics such as Dracula and the Count of Monte Cristo. Savanna- nonfiction with a sarcastic twist. She also has several snarky adult coloring books. Emily Elizabeth- Christian fiction. Her first series is a love story through time to the civil war era between a black slave and a feisty fighter pilot Time travel Christian romance . Lexi- Dozens of AI quality artistic coloring books for adults and kids using mid-journey artificial intelligence.
Mariquita has also published coloring books and journals under her own name. She has many medical planners for cancer, brain injury and cardiology. She has co-written a 30-day brain injury- memory program for caregivers and therapists to use with patients in a Dementia activity book . As a ragdoll cat breeder, she has written a book to help people avoid getting scammed and knows what to ask a potential breeder.

Ashley Hay BSN RN, owner of AHayNursing, P.C., was an experienced registered nurse for over a decade in many areas of both pediatric & adult oncology. Her passion for medical education has merged seamlessly with her personal long-time love of reading and creative writing. Ashley moved across the country, transitioning to freelance medical writing and clinical content consulting shortly thereafter due to chronic health issues that required she leave behind the demands of bedside care.

About Susan Cacciola
Susan has a 42 year multi-specialty background including Acute Care Case Management/Critical Care and Medical Surgical Nursing;  home care;  dialysis;  long term care and rehab nursing; medical practice management; medical coding and billing; nursing administration; nursing education; wound care; life care planing; holistic nursing; and integrative nurse life coaching.
Clinically Susan practices as an independent case manager in the community.
She created and taught a state approved course to train CNAs and CHHAs to become Certified Medication Assistants in NJ.
Susan opines in nursing malpractice cases, both plaintiff and defense in the areas of:
acute care, long term care, assisted living, wound care, adult/geriatric nursing; home care.

About Mary Ann Seibold
Mary Ann Seibold is a registered nurse and a legal nurse consultant with over 12 years healthcare experience both clinically and in leadership. Her work experience in diverse: working in both ICU, Medical-Surgical and auditing care for the insurance industry. After graduating high school, Mary Ann knew she wanted to do something in nursing and something in the legal field. It wasn't until covid when she took the plunge; became a LNC and started her business Seibold & Associates Consulting Agency. Now she uses her extensive nursing knowledge and training to be the liaison between the healthcare system and legal field.
Mary Ann has a BSN in Nursing, MBA in Healthcare Administration along with certification in Advance Course on Strangulation Prevention as well as certified legal nurse consultant. Currently, she is working on her Forensic Nursing Certificate
Mary Ann's company provides a wide range of services for her attorney clients in both criminal and civil cases. Services include but not limited to medical record analysis and case screening to creating detailed chronologies and case development. All dependent on the client's specific needs.
