HOST ED AVERETTE
Ed Averette, known as "Ed the Rapping Real Estate Agent," was raised in Jacksonville, Florida and spent time in foster care during his youth before serving in the US Army. After leaving the military, he had a short career in music before buying his first house. He had a poor experience when looking to buy a home, which led him to pursue a career in real estate. He combined his background in music and the military to become an excellent real estate agent, using raps and social media to market his business and stand out from the competition. Now, as a licensed Broker and Top Realtor with EXP Realty and 15 years of experience, he started the The Averhome Group and leads a team of agents in four states, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He is well known for his unique approach to real estate and his ability to connect with millennials. He places a strong emphasis on educating both home buyers and sellers. He uses music to educate home buyers and sellers on the real estate process and promotes the idea of building generational wealth. He has an album called "The Real Estate Trilla" and a popular video on buying a home, which has helped increase his business by 30%. His goal is to encourage and assist people in achieving their dream of homeownership.
HOST TERENCE GUESS
Terence Guess is a long time resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a Certified Mortgage Advisor with T.E.G Mortgage/Atlantic Bay. He has 15 years of experience in finance and mortgage and a strong desire to serve others. Terence is just like you in many ways. Like you, he values honesty and hard work. He genuinely cares for people and shows it through compassion in his work, making him a reliable choice for clients. He takes the time to understand his clients' needs. He gets to know his clients by meeting face to face to review their credit application, discusses their goals and sets clear expectations throughout the process. He educates his clients by sending them articles about the housing market and current news affairs, explaining what they mean and why the market is trending in certain ways. He wants his clients to understand the process, feel like they were part of it and make informed decisions. Terence is described by his clients as a family member who is always available, easy to talk to and makes the process seamless. He is also very dedicated to and cares about his community. He regularly volunteers with the youth and at a local men's shelter to serve lunch and assist with resume writing. He feels that it is important to show service to the community through positive contributions.
