What Happened

In which we talk about: writer debuts, relationship endings, the nature of desire, the constraints of monogamy, the daily tedium of domestic life and its surprising little miracles, and--speaking of which--the day her son swallowed a dime and all hell broke loose.

In-laws, hot dogs on the 5th of July, fishing, Buddhism, essaying "Shit That Annoys Me," singing "This Land Is Your Land," and other oddities (including ceiling fans) that add up the moments.
