None In The Chamber

If there’s one thing most people know about tanks, it’s that they’re heavy. The Panzer 4 weighed about 25 tonnes, multiple times the weight of a modern care. That’s pretty heavy, but what if I told you that the Nazis almost built a tank weighing 1000 tonnes? Today on None in The Chamber, we’ll be looking at two of the heaviest proposed concepts for World War II vehicles.

Today we're going to be taking a look at a gun that I'm a big fan of, 1942's De Lisle Carbine. A stealth rifle so quiet that even modern guns struggle to match its low volume, the De Lisle was a bizarre creation that came in a limited run of 129 units, never receiving any kind of official continuation. But why didn't it catch on?
