Headache Topics this week:

What happened in the negotiations?

How will Miller respond to contract?

We roll out our pre-camp assessment of the Kansas City secondary this week.  the unit has seen one starter depart for Oakland and another go unsigned as the Franchise tag deadline approaches. this could be the position group with the biggest question marks going into camp.
Young defensive backs are the corp of the cornerback group. Bob Sutton looks at a group of players with no more than experience than that of their leader. now the elder statesman, Marcus Peters has the most NFL starts to his credit at 18 (Philip Gaines has only 16 starts).  Can this young group develop quickly enough o be successful?
Where do they stand with individual players:
- Eric Berry’s contract coming down to the deadline
- Who can step into 3rd Safety Role?
- Young DBs will have a chance to play on this team
- Is Philip Gaines best outside or int he nickel CB spot?
Eric Berry or Von Miller?  Which situation has a bigger impact?
